Growing up, our home was always open to guests. In our culture, guests are seen as the heart of the home, deserving of our finest offerings. I remember the best food in our house was always reserved for them – from freshly baked wood-oven bread to pasterma, olives, cheese, and olive oil. Hospitality was simply part of who we were.

As the years passed, this deep-rooted tradition led me to the restaurant business, and since 1997, I’ve had the honor of serving others. Now, it fills me with pride to invite you to our own restaurant, “Basilico.” This place is a tribute to the warmth, generosity, and love for good food that my family instilled in me.
